The Dance Center holds an annual recital at the end of our Dance season in May (we are aiming for a May 15, 2027, recital; rehearsal on 5/14/27; this date is not confirmed – we will confirm as soon as possible). The recital is held at Algonquin Regional High School in Northboro, MA. Students begin working on recital routines in January in preparation for our May performance.
Parents need to notify the studio by email before November 30, 2026 if their dancer will not participate in the recital.
Students will be measured for their recital costume(s) in November. Costume orders are placed in early December to ensure they arrive in time for any necessary alterations. The costume cost is $85.00 per costume per class. Creative movement classes I, II, III, and B/J/T have one costume, typically a leo with interchangeable skirts, shorts, or pants. Some costumes may exceed the $85.00 cost, and you could be charged an additional $5-$10. The studio will handle basic alterations.
Costume payments are due by November 30, 2027. Costume charges will be posted to your account in October 2026 and must be paid in full by November 30, 2026.
Recital Media Fee – Every family participating in the recital is required to purchase the recital media fee. This fee is $35.00 per family. It includes a digital download of the recital(s) and a live stream of the recital for friends and family who cannot make it to the recital.
Miscellaneous recital costs you will encounter: new tights, individual pictures, group pictures (purchasing is optional), and recital tickets.
