Summer Programs – 2026
Summer programs are specifically designed for all ages and levels.
Register online for any of our summer programs. Current DCDC students: log in to the Parent Portal/Current Student to register for Summer 2026. New students: register as a new student. A $25.00 registration fee is required to enroll in a class. For more information or questions, please email. Summer Dress Code: Black Leo with black bike shorts or leggings, hair in a bun. Appropriate shoes for each genre.
Session 1: July 27th–30th
✦ Splash into Summer
Ages: 2.5 – 4 | Time: 4:00 – 5:00 pm. | Cost: $100.00
Description: Explore dance movement through music and imagination. Dancers will learn the basics of beginner tumbling set to fun, summer-beach music.
Attire: One-piece bathing suit with bike shorts or leggings, bare feet or ballet slippers. Hair in a bun or ponytail.
✦ Summer Acro Skills and Conditioning
Ages: 7+ | Time: 5:00 – 6:15 pm | Cost: $125.00
Instructor: Certified Acro Arts Instructor Danielle Cournoyer
Description: Strengthen technique, build skills, work through progressions, and maintain current abilities.
Experience: Previous dance experience is preferred but not required.
Session 2: August 3rd–6th
✦ Mermaids & Fishtails
Ages: 2.5 – 5 | Time: 4:00 – 5:30 pm. | Cost: $165.00
Description: A magical experience through music, storytelling, imaginative play, and daily crafts centered on mermaids and fishtails.
Attire: Comfortable clothing, leotard/tights if preferred, and bare feet.
Notes: Bring a water bottle and a quick snack. No peanut products.
✦ K-Pop Dance Mix
Ages: 6+ | Time: 5:30 – 6:45 pm. | Cost: $125.00
Description: High-energy classes that explore foundational skills in jazz, hip-hop, acro, turns, leaps, and tricks.
Attire: Black leotard and leggings. Jazz shoes and hip-hop sneakers.
✦ Aerials and Handsprings
Ages: 10+ | Time: 6:45 – 7:45 pm. | Cost: $100.00
Instructor: Certified Acro Arts Instructor Ms. Danielle Cournoyer
Description: Advanced Acro training focused on aerials, flying cartwheels, and handspring progressions.
Requirements: Previous Acro Arts training required. Back limber and back kick-over required.
Session 3: August 10th–13th
✦ A Royal Affair
Ages: 2.5 – 6 | Time: 4:00- 5:30 pm | Cost: $165.00
Description: A fairy-tale dance adventure through beloved stories featuring dance, movement, crafts, and fun.
Attire: Easy-to-move clothing, or dress up as a favorite princess or hero. Ballet slippers or bare feet.

Ages: 6+ | Times: Hip Hop I (Ages 6-11): 4:00 – 6:30 pm • Hip Hop II (Ages 12+): 6:30 – 9:00 pm

Description: Learn groove, pop, lock, break, and hip-hop choreography.
✦ Swiftie Dance Party
Ages: 5-8 | Time: 5:30 – 7:30 pm | Cost: $200.00

Description: A fun dance party featuring ballet, jazz, and tap, with bracelet-making and snack time, set to Taylor’s favorite pop hits!
Attire: Black leotard, black leggings, ballet shoes, jazz shoes, and tap shoes.
Session 4: August 17th–20th
✦ Summer Technique
Ages: 10+ | Times: Ages 7–9: 4:00–5:30 pm • Ages 10–12: 5:30 – 7:00 pm • Ages 13+: 7:00–8:30 pm
Cost: $165.00

Description: A 1.5-hour technique class featuring a different genre each day: jazz, lyrical, Alixa Flexibility, and contemporary.
Requirements: Black leotard and black leggings.
✦ Costume Creations 101
Ages: 10+ | Time: 4:15 – 5:15 pm | Cost: $60.00
Instructor: Ms. Michelle
Description: Students will learn sewing, decorating, designing, and rhinestoning as they create a costume.
Additional Costs: Sewing and rhinestone kits: $25–$35.
