The Dance Center holds an annual recital at the end of our Dance season in May (We are shooting for May 18, 2024 – this date is not confirmed – I will confirm as soon as possible). The recital is held at Algonquin Regional High School in Northboro. Students begin working on recital routines in January in preparation for our May performance.
Parents need to notify the studio before November 30th, 2023 by email if their dancer is not going to participate in the recital.
Students will be measured for their recital costume(s) in November. Costume orders are placed in early December to ensure they will arrive in time for any alterations that may be needed. Costume cost is $80.00 per costume per class. Creative movement classes I, II, III and B/J/T have one costume, normally a leo that has interchangeable skirts, shorts or pants. Some costumes do exceed the $80.00 cost and you could be charged an extra $5 – $10. The studio will handle basic alterations.
Costume payments are due by November 30th, 2023. Costume charges will be posted to your account in September and must be paid for in full by November 30, 2023.
Recital Media fee – Every family participating in the recital is required to purchase the recital media fee. This fee is $35.00 per family. It includes a digital download of the rectial(s) and recital live stream for friends and family that can not make it to the recital.
Miscellaneous recital cost you will encounter: new tights, individual pictures and group pictures( purchasing is optional), recital tickets.
