The Dance Center holds an annual recital at the end of our Dance season in May (We are shooting for May 14, 15, 16, 2026; this date is not confirmed – I will confirm as soon as possible). The recital is held at Algonquin Regional High School in Northboro. Students begin working on recital routines in January in preparation for our May performance.
Parents must email the studio before November 30th, 2025, if their dancer will not be participating in the recital.
Students will be measured for their recital costumes in November. Costume orders are placed in early December to ensure they arrive in time for any necessary alterations. Costume cost is $85.00 per costume per class. Creative movement classes I, II, III, and B/J/T typically feature one costume, usually a Leo that comes with interchangeable skirts, shorts, or pants. Some costumes may exceed the $85.00 cost, and you may be charged an additional $5-$10. The studio will handle basic alterations.
Costume payments are due by November 30th, 2025. Costume charges will be posted to your account in October 2025 and must be paid for in full by November 30, 2025.
Recital Media fee—All families participating in the recital are required to purchase the recital media fee. This fee is $35.00 per family. It includes a digital download of the recital (s) and a live stream for friends and family who cannot attend the recital.
Miscellaneous recital costs you will encounter include new tights, individual pictures, group pictures (purchasing is optional), and recital tickets.
