DCDC rules and procedures for the 2025/26 Season
Please read through this information to familiarize yourself and your dancer with our procedures. Have a conversation with your dancer and discuss our guidelines and rules.
Tardiness will not be tolerated. Being on time is essential both at drop-off and pick-up. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled class time.
- Dancers should be dressed, hair done correctly, and ready for class.
- Dancers should have a dance bag with everything they need for shoes, water
- Pick up: 5 minutes before the end of class
- If you are late to class, enter quietly and do not interrupt the class
In-class rules:
- Students not following the dress code will be asked to exit the class and return when dressed appropriately
- Students are required to wear their hair in a slick, proper bun. Older students, there is no excuse for not having an appropriate hairstyle. Younger students (under 5) and parents, please do your best.
- No talking in class. Students who cannot control their talking in class will be asked to leave, and parents will be notified.
- Attendance is imperative; students who continue to miss class may be asked to withdraw or be moved to a lower level.
Cleaning procedures: The entire studio lobby, classrooms, and cubbies handles are cleaned weekly. We have a professional-grade sprayer to mist the whole studio. Our cleaning product is a peroxide-based cleaner that kills germs and is also safe for our dancers.
Restrooms: We encourage all students to use the restroom at home before coming to the studio. Students should use the restroom before class and not during class. After using the restroom, students must wash and sanitize their hands before re-entering the classroom.
